About the game
Troubled writer Alan Wake goes looking for his missing wife, Alice, after she disappears in the Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls. He finds pages of a horror story he supposedly wrote, and as the days go on, the story starts happening around him, forcing him to question what’s real. As a supernatural darkness spreads and turns people against him, you fight back with a flashlight, a handgun, and your own unraveling thoughts. The game is a tense, episodic action-thriller with story expansions that add more chapters to the mystery of what’s taking over and why.
