About the game
Far Cry 5 is an open-world first-person shooter set in Montana, where you fight to liberate Hope County from a fanatical doomsday cult led by Joseph Seed and his family. You can go loud with a wide range of weapons or take enemies out with stealth takedowns, using everything from melee weapons to rocket launchers. The game keeps you busy by having you explore Big Sky Country in vehicles and by air and water, with the world reacting as you push back the cult. You also recruit a squad to help in fights, including fighters for hire and companions like Boomer the dog and Cheeseburger the bear, and you can play the full campaign with a friend in 2-player co-op.
