Mount & Blade: Warband lets you ride and fight in a medieval world as your own character, starting as an adventurer and having the freedom to grow into a ruler of a faction. You can travel freely across a large map with villages, castles, and towns, taking part in battles both on horseback and on foot using many different weapons with their own feel. Combat is built around realistic mounted fights and a detailed sword-fighting system, with enemy troops and factions shaped by different cultures and equipment. Outside of fights, there’s plenty to do with constant encounters and conversations with hundreds of characters, while tougher AI battles you in both combat and strategy. Multiplayer battles include modes like Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Conquest, Battle, and Siege with up to 32 players.
