Serious Sam 4 is a fast, explosive first-person shooter set during a prequel where you play as Sam “Serious” Stone, leading Earth’s last resistance against Mental’s alien invasion. You fight your way through battles packed with huge numbers of enemies, using a big range of weapons like shotguns, a minigun, chain-based firepower, cannons, rocket launchers, and a laser beam. The gameplay focuses on handling overwhelming situations with constant movement, like circle-strafing and backpedaling, while trying to survive the chaos and the bigger monsters. You can also team up with friends in 4-player online co-op to run the campaign missions and side quests on modified difficulty.
