How to install a game on PS5 and play from your own profile

   On your own profile, choose the profile icon at the top right, then “Switch User”.

   Choose “Add User”, then “Get Started” in the left card. Signing in as a guest on the right won't work: console sharing isn't available for guests.

   Tick “I Accept” and press “Confirm”.

   Choose “Sign In Manually”, enter the email and password from your order and press “Sign In”. If the console asks for a verification code, enter the code from your chat with the manager.

The console doesn't always show them. If a screen doesn't appear, skip the step.

   On the “Your Information” screen type the game's name into the name fields so you can tell accounts apart later, and press “Next”.

   No such screen. Go to the next step.

   Choose “Team Player” → “Apply” → “Confirm and Continue”, then “OK”.

   If the console offers console sharing, press “Enable”. On other offers press “Later”.

Without this, the game won't start from your profile.

   On our account choose the “Settings” gear at the top right, then “Users and Accounts”.

   Open “Other” → “Console Sharing and Offline Play”.

   There's no such option. The account signed in as a guest. Restart the console and go through the guide again, choosing “Get Started” in step 2.

   Press “Enable”, then “OK”.

   You see “Don't Disable” and “Disable” instead. Sharing is already on. Press “Don't Disable” and go on to downloading the game.

   Go back to the home screen and open “Game Library” → “Your Collection” → your game.

   If the game has PS5 and PS4 versions, choose the PS5 one. Press “Download”.

   If add-ons are offered, press “Select All” and “Install”.

   Choose the profile icon at the top right → “Switch User” and choose your own profile.

   Wait for the download to finish: PS → “Downloads/Uploads”. Once the game is fully installed, its page shows “Play” instead of “View Product”.
